What makes you happy? | 09/08

I've been thinking a lot recently about these past few months and how they have been challenging in many ways, but also filled with wonderful happy times.

Here's a few that I thought I'd share with you all;

July 5th

Last month I went to Brighton for the day with my Sister, Her Boyfriend and our friend Emma.
We sat in the sun and walked about, but then I went for a little stroll on my own through the lanes and went to Snoopers Paradise (tut heaven!) and honestly, I really enjoy my own company sometimes! Just being able to take your time to look around places and not worry about anyone else is nice!

August 7th

This is Ella Masters. We me through my awesome boss Ree Ree Rockette and honestly she's probably the most honest, down to earth person ever? We have so much in common and always manage to share a giggle. We also love to shop, which is... y'no my fave thing! Isn't it weird how people who are just like you kind of just turn up in your life and make loads of sense? haha.

August 7th

I met Ella in Camden for coffee on this day, I've fallen back in love with coffee again. We have a love-hate relationship with each other, sometimes I get the shakes and panic; sometimes I just buzz my tits off.
Also Camden, why do I neglect you for Shoreditch? You're just as lovely!

April 30th

On April 30th I had my first day at Rockalily Cuts. I had fallen out with Hairdressing after I had my confidence knocked by someone I admired. BUT one day I found Ree and Ree found me. Now 3 months on here I am! I'm doing more hair than I ever have before and more importantly I can be myself! I'll be qualified early next year, and until then I'm loving every second. Working in London is beautiful, exciting and always different. I am so so content.

Guess Who's Back!

Hello you adorable, lovely lot!

I'm back; I've pulled up my socks with cats on, dusted off my blog and here I am ready to make it into everything I always wanted it to be!

This blog will now be an extension of myself- of my think-box
(or brain to normal people). I want to write about things that make me sad, happy, excited, angry & enigmatic. I want to write about days out, movies I've seen, dates I've been on and bloody great bargains I've found.

Finally I'll actually do it, I'm not embarrassed to be totally transparent anymore.

SO, A re-introduction of myself:

Hello, My name is Josephine. You can call me Josie. I'm 21 soon to be 22 in August and I'm a single independent woman paying my own damn Netflix. I'm obsessed with cats, I say hello to the same 5 every morning when I walk to the station. I also really really really love garlic. Garlic on everything.
I've attempted many careers in my short live thus far; Shop Assistant, Seamstress, Theatre Tech, Waitress, Musician, Teaching Assistant & Photographer. I've finally settled into something I really really love; Hairdressing.
I worked at Not Another Salon for half a year and It was interesting to say the least, but it gave a me a good nudge into the world I now know and love. I'm now at home at the wonderful Rockalily Cuts, training as a proper apprentice hairdresser and loving every second.

I'm sure I'm not amazing at it all just yet, like many things in general. I still can't boil rice. That's a bloody skill that is. I'm just trying to get all of this adult-y stuff figured out y'no?

Fancy Joining me?

MUA Haul & Catch up ❤

Hello!
I went shopping with my sister the other day and decided to treat myself to a few bits from MUA, It's such a brilliant brand and everything is so affordable, Going to go back for some eye shadow pallets next I think!

PRO BROW ULTIMATE EYEBROW KIT
£3.50
MUA @ Superdrug

I have wanted a Brow Kit for absolutely ages!
I really wanted to get the Sleek Brow Kit but then I saw this one, shining up at me from the MUA stand, like a grinning child... "I'm better value and I do the same thing, Take me home please!" It said. Grinning away.

So I bought it, Best £3.50 I've ever spent! Love the colors, and the mini tweezers are good to grab those annoying little hairs!
I feel like this may even be better than the sleek one on the swatches... Cheeky I know!

POWER BROW PENCIL
£2.50
MUA @ Superdrug

I've been looking at the MUA LUXE Lip-glosses for ages, I really want a nude Matte one, but all the ones in this store were sold out, Next to the Eye Brow Kit was this pencil, A Pencil & Highlight combo and it is just perfect for a Natural Travel Make-up bag!
Although I bought it in too light a color, (I used to be a natural blonde but forget I have ridiculously dark brown eyebrows) It still fills in my eyebrows nicely and doesn't look to obvious! I love it!

Also, I had my first Krispy Kreme doughnut EVER. It was yummy and Naturally an Instagram post was needed.

And here's some foody posts!

1/2 Chicken, Rice & Chips from Nandos,YUM.
This was before I drowned it all in Creamy Salad Dressing  grrggrraalllgrrll *mouth waters*

And Last but not least I made some Mini Meringue bites & ate them with fresh Raspberries, yummy yum.

That's all for now!
