A/W Wishlist. | November 15 |

I could honestly say that 2015 has been my favourite year yet for trends. The summer 1970's trend absolutely killed it. So much suede and floaty chiffon, All of the things I have loved since falling for vintage Fashion at the age of 14.

Spring transitioned to summer, bringing Flares and Micro mini skirts.. then Autumn crept in and brought Ankle boots, Knee boots & 1960's gogo fashion. Team a mini dress with ankle boots and a winter coat? TRANSITIONAL PERFECTION. YES YES YES.

Here's a few favourites that I WISH I could afford right now...but since my last blogpost, you can imagine I can barely afford a Freddo.

A GIRL CAN DREAM :

PETITE Poppy Print Dress
£48.00
Topshop

I love a little bit of floral for the winter. This dress is slightly peasant style with the long sleeves and frills but the colours are autumnal and very pretty. Tights + Wooly Scarf + Boots = Perfection.

PETITE Textured Bell Sleeve Dress
£42.00
Topshop

This is just a simple Little Blue dress. I love love love it. Need I say more?

Juni Coat
£65
Monki

I've been looking for another long-line winter jacket. Something keeps pulling me into the idea of a trench coat. This cream/off white number is so gloriously chic.

Sleeveless Utility Denim Dress
£20.00
Miss Selfridge

Can we just? I am so in love with all the Denim dresses I've been seeing this year!

Marc B Bella Across Body Bag
£35.00
ASOS

The perfect little bag for every outing! Granted if I had a really good rummage I could probably find a retro lookalike in a charity shop, but for now we have this as GOALS.

Lace Up High Heel Shoes
£29.99
ZARA

Out of all of the suede shoes I've seen this year these have by far won my heart. I would beg, borrow and steal to have them on my feet immediately. I may have to to seek some babysitting work....

So that's just a few things, I could sit here for hours showing you what I love! Hope all is well for you all.

OOTD | The Babydoll Shift Dress |

Hey Chums!
This week I've been so busy with my Swoon launch that I almost forgot about an OOTD! I'm a terrible person.

I had a little time spare to finally make myself a dress from some Orange Crepe I got from Brick Lane last year! It was only £1 a metre so how could I leave it behind?

I opted for a cute 1960's style GoGo dress, Originally intended to have a Peter Pan collars..but you know they're the bane of my life so I ditched that part!

I wore my White Tights from Primark (£3) & White Dolly Shoes from ASOS (£10, Depop) & OFC My White Fluffy Bag from Kylijane!
I'd also like to say excuse my fluffy mad woman hair, It never looks nice when it's too clean!! GRR.

Sunning it up lol

Hope you love this OOTD & I plan to start some sewing tutorials on my Youtube eventually, Starting with Altering trousers that are too big to fit you.

Also I wanted to say that today SWOON Launched & I've listed everything on DEPOP (Username:whoisjosiewho)
Everything is £10 and under because here on my blog it's Affordable Fashion ALWAYS! & If you order before Midnight tonight it's £1 postage!

Have a nice weekend!

❤ OOTD : Waterloo Sunset ❤

Hello!

Here's an outfit I wore out shopping with my Paps on Friday, It was so warm and I braved bare legs!

I recently purchased my first Polo Neck top from Hidden Fashion for £5, I wouldn't normally spend so much on a plain top before but often their website sells out quickly & I wanted it!

I wore my Polo Neck with this Swoon dress that I made last year! It's just a basic shift dress but it's so cute & probably one of y favourite things I've sewn!
The Top goes really nicely underneath & I felt super 60's.

I took my Kylijane Fluffy bag with me which doesn't often leave my side, This outfit needed some fluff! I love it loads it's so cute!

Also check out my epic hair flick!

I put on my ASOS Dolly Shoes with this because CUTE & My H&M Beige Blazer because although it was sunny there was a chilly wind! My bum was reeeeet cold! lol :-)

Hope you love this outfit as much as me!

OOTD :✿ The Handmade Shift Dress ✿

Hello loves! Today I thought I'd show you an OOTD including a Dress I made myself! If you may not know, I've been applying to University this year and recently had my portfolio review.
I made this dress as part of a textiles unit & printed the fabric myself by hand inspired by the 1960's clean cut Mod fashion.

I paired my dress with Tights & My favourite White dolly shoes from ASOS.

I put on my trusty H&M Blazer & picked up My white Leather clutch bag from Forever 21.

Of course in this weather I also put on my Faux Fur collar over the top of my jacket! A must for me in the winter because you can wear it with any coat and its so warm! I got this one from eBay for £6 and it's still going strong!

That's all for today! If you want a tutorial for how to make a simple dress let me know in my blog comments, I'm looking into starting some sewing tutorials on my YouTube channel because I've developed some little tricks to make sweet little outfits!

Have you made anything recently? I'd love to know!

❤❤ Valentines Day OOTD | D.I.Y Vintage Two Piece ❤❤

Hey lovelies!

Today I'm bringing you an OOTD on a Thursday..(cheeky).
To celebrate the Valentine's festivities this year I thought i'd make something sweet to wear, & inspiration struck when I found a Maxi dress I'd purchased last year from Rokit!

I purchased it for just £7 from the Starship section in Rokit Camden & you can see it in action HERE in a Youtube OOTD.

I was thinking of what to create when I got the idea for a cute 2 piece outfit, There certainly was enough fabric for me to have a try!

My initial idea made use of the frilly bottom, included sleeves and a pointed collar however I opted to make it sleeveless and chose to try a Peter Pan collar.

I started by chopping it in half to the length I wanted the skirt & just elasticated the waistband!
I used the rest of the material to make a shirt, customizing the pattern to make it smaller to use less fabric.

Here's my finished Skirt & Shirt before I made the collar & hemmed the edges.

Once I added the collar, Buttons and Hems it was finished!

I'd like to say, I have never sewn a peter pan collar before, and I'm 100% aware of how wonky it is! I'm super proud of it though it has character, it takes practice!

Here's my completed outfit with accessories!

Wonky Collar Action haha!

I had a lot of fun making this little number! It certainly gives my Maxi a new lease of life! I hope it inspires you to take something you don't wear much & turn it into something super adorable!

What's the best thing you've customized?

Happy Valentines Day!

Hello, Today's OOTD is 100% 1960's Inspired!
I love the Mod Girl look as you can probably tell from my blog posts and I fell in love with the style when I was just 14.

I saw this skirt in Primark about 5 Months ago, and Pined ever since. To my excitement I found it in the sale for just £1, I AM SO HAPPY. There was also a Baby Blue version for those not too keen on Burnt Orange, but I'm not sure if it's completely sold out!

|What I'm Wearing|

Cropped Sleeve Jumper
Primark

PVC Mini Skirt
Primark

Woolen Tights
Primark

Casio Watch
Urban Outfitters

Mock Croc Handbag
Absolute Vintage
£1

Beige Blazer
H&M

Arabella Booties
House Of Harlow

Statement Earrings
Topshop

I hope you loved this outfit as much as me! The Jumper, Earrings & Blazer were given to me by my sister, I never say no to my sisters clothes that she often buys and doesn't wear, She's the best!

The skirt & Bag were only £1, My tights were £2 and my shoes were only £25 instead of £150!
I love being a bargain shopper, Putting together a fashionable outfit does not have to be expensive, Often if you wait items you love will always go into the sale!

That's all for today, What's the best thing you've found for £1?
