OOTD | The Babydoll Shift Dress |

Hey Chums!
This week I've been so busy with my Swoon launch that I almost forgot about an OOTD! I'm a terrible person.

I had a little time spare to finally make myself a dress from some Orange Crepe I got from Brick Lane last year! It was only £1 a metre so how could I leave it behind?

I opted for a cute 1960's style GoGo dress, Originally intended to have a Peter Pan collars..but you know they're the bane of my life so I ditched that part!

I wore my White Tights from Primark (£3) & White Dolly Shoes from ASOS (£10, Depop) & OFC My White Fluffy Bag from Kylijane!
I'd also like to say excuse my fluffy mad woman hair, It never looks nice when it's too clean!! GRR.

Sunning it up lol

Hope you love this OOTD & I plan to start some sewing tutorials on my Youtube eventually, Starting with Altering trousers that are too big to fit you.

Also I wanted to say that today SWOON Launched & I've listed everything on DEPOP (Username:whoisjosiewho)
Everything is £10 and under because here on my blog it's Affordable Fashion ALWAYS! & If you order before Midnight tonight it's £1 postage!

Have a nice weekend!

❤ OOTD : Waterloo Sunset ❤

Hello!

Here's an outfit I wore out shopping with my Paps on Friday, It was so warm and I braved bare legs!

I recently purchased my first Polo Neck top from Hidden Fashion for £5, I wouldn't normally spend so much on a plain top before but often their website sells out quickly & I wanted it!

I wore my Polo Neck with this Swoon dress that I made last year! It's just a basic shift dress but it's so cute & probably one of y favourite things I've sewn!
The Top goes really nicely underneath & I felt super 60's.

I took my Kylijane Fluffy bag with me which doesn't often leave my side, This outfit needed some fluff! I love it loads it's so cute!

Also check out my epic hair flick!

I put on my ASOS Dolly Shoes with this because CUTE & My H&M Beige Blazer because although it was sunny there was a chilly wind! My bum was reeeeet cold! lol :-)

Hope you love this outfit as much as me!

OOTD | Sundaze |

Hey guys! This weeks OOTD is coming on a Tuesday, Apologies! Ricardo took me to London yesterday and it was a lovely surprise day out!

Today It was really sunny outside so I decided to style a few Charity shop bargains I've purchased recently In a 1969/1970 Style OOTD.

I've really been getting into my Charity shopping recently with it being a new Season for Fashion Trends and all. Even my dad comes along with me now when he sees all of the bargains I'm bringing home!

I picked up this gorgeous lace shirt from St.Francis' Hospice for only £2.50 and it's so lovely! I'm wearing it unbuttoned here but buttoned up it makes a fabulous tunic style shirt, the lace is daisy shaped and very 1960s!

My Straw bag was only £1 from Sue Ryder, I found it in a big pile of bags and I have the biggest weakness for Straw bags I couldn't leave it behind.

Ok. Let's talk about my Suede Skirt.
I actually made it! As you may or may not know I LOVE to sew and I've been testing a few patterns out for this seasons styles. I tried out a mini skirt in this Faux Suede material and ITS AWESOME.

I teamed it with this thick Black Belt from Primark, a Hand me down from my sister! I love the thick cut look it gives and It's a very 70's thing. If you're ever in doubt about the new 1970's fashion trends, Remember - Flares. Suede. Belts. Tassels.

I'll be making some Suede Skirts as well as other Fabulous Vintage Style bits to sell for release in May so watch this space & Follow me on instagram for updates!

My sunglasses are from Forever 21, I purchased them when I used to work there and they cost me about £6 which is the most I've ever paid for sunglasses! THE HORROR. But I love them they're very Nicole Richie - esque.

I threw on a Black crop top from H&M (£1.99) and Black Tights and Pumps from Primark (£2.99 & £4.00).

I thought I'd include my eye make-up as it matched my Outfit haha! I had Collection's Felt Tip Black Eyeliner and a Collection Copper Glitter Eyeliner in the inner corners, TRES CHIC.

I plaited the sides of my hair and brought them together at the back, Curling the ends of my hair and pinning it.

You get a nice close up of the Lace Shirt here and it's JUST LOVELY.

That's all for today, I'd like to thank you for coping with my poor quality photos and I'm so excited to say I'll be buying a Brand new proper camera come payday! All of my Blog Posts will be HD-ified. YAY.

Whats the best charity shop purchase you've made recently! I'd really love to know so don't be shy in tweeting/commenting to tell me!

❤❤ Valentines Day OOTD | D.I.Y Vintage Two Piece ❤❤

Hey lovelies!

Today I'm bringing you an OOTD on a Thursday..(cheeky).
To celebrate the Valentine's festivities this year I thought i'd make something sweet to wear, & inspiration struck when I found a Maxi dress I'd purchased last year from Rokit!

I purchased it for just £7 from the Starship section in Rokit Camden & you can see it in action HERE in a Youtube OOTD.

I was thinking of what to create when I got the idea for a cute 2 piece outfit, There certainly was enough fabric for me to have a try!

My initial idea made use of the frilly bottom, included sleeves and a pointed collar however I opted to make it sleeveless and chose to try a Peter Pan collar.

I started by chopping it in half to the length I wanted the skirt & just elasticated the waistband!
I used the rest of the material to make a shirt, customizing the pattern to make it smaller to use less fabric.

Here's my finished Skirt & Shirt before I made the collar & hemmed the edges.

Once I added the collar, Buttons and Hems it was finished!

I'd like to say, I have never sewn a peter pan collar before, and I'm 100% aware of how wonky it is! I'm super proud of it though it has character, it takes practice!

Here's my completed outfit with accessories!

Wonky Collar Action haha!

I had a lot of fun making this little number! It certainly gives my Maxi a new lease of life! I hope it inspires you to take something you don't wear much & turn it into something super adorable!

What's the best thing you've customized?

Happy Valentines Day!
