A/W Wishlist. | November 15 |

I could honestly say that 2015 has been my favourite year yet for trends. The summer 1970's trend absolutely killed it. So much suede and floaty chiffon, All of the things I have loved since falling for vintage Fashion at the age of 14.

Spring transitioned to summer, bringing Flares and Micro mini skirts.. then Autumn crept in and brought Ankle boots, Knee boots & 1960's gogo fashion. Team a mini dress with ankle boots and a winter coat? TRANSITIONAL PERFECTION. YES YES YES.

Here's a few favourites that I WISH I could afford right now...but since my last blogpost, you can imagine I can barely afford a Freddo.

A GIRL CAN DREAM :

PETITE Poppy Print Dress
£48.00
Topshop

I love a little bit of floral for the winter. This dress is slightly peasant style with the long sleeves and frills but the colours are autumnal and very pretty. Tights + Wooly Scarf + Boots = Perfection.

PETITE Textured Bell Sleeve Dress
£42.00
Topshop

This is just a simple Little Blue dress. I love love love it. Need I say more?

Juni Coat
£65
Monki

I've been looking for another long-line winter jacket. Something keeps pulling me into the idea of a trench coat. This cream/off white number is so gloriously chic.

Sleeveless Utility Denim Dress
£20.00
Miss Selfridge

Can we just? I am so in love with all the Denim dresses I've been seeing this year!

Marc B Bella Across Body Bag
£35.00
ASOS

The perfect little bag for every outing! Granted if I had a really good rummage I could probably find a retro lookalike in a charity shop, but for now we have this as GOALS.

Lace Up High Heel Shoes
£29.99
ZARA

Out of all of the suede shoes I've seen this year these have by far won my heart. I would beg, borrow and steal to have them on my feet immediately. I may have to to seek some babysitting work....

So that's just a few things, I could sit here for hours showing you what I love! Hope all is well for you all.

TOPSHOP DENIM STAPLES | SEPTEMBER 15

I can't be the only one who is totally taken by all of the awesome denim Topshop have in there stores at the moment.
I could cry because I can't buy them all... but I can pick my favourites and show you them!

MOTO Denim Western Dress
£42
This, by far is my absolute fave. Every time I go to Topshop I just stand a whimper over it because £42? *cri evri tym* BUT SO PERFECT. MUCH DENIM. WOW.

MOTO Bright Blue Button Front A-Line Skirt
£28
Ahhh, the button down. Seen on.. Everyone this summer? But seriously, It doesn't get better than this! Those Penny Lane vibes!

Petite Slim Dungarees
£48
Gosh I want some black dungarees so bad. They're so sweet and practical, perfect for University or college! Maybe one day I'll cave and get a pair.

MOTO Fitted Western Shirt
£29
Denim shirts are legit awesome, I often question why I don't actually have one myself? Am I mad? But they're great for when you don't feel like wearing a denim jacket but you still want a little suttin' suttin' to keep you warm.

There's my picks! Hey, maybe I'm getting the hang of this blog post lark again?

My Week in Photos | #1

Hello everyone!

I've been super busy sewing all week so no amazingly planned post! I thought i'd just post a few photos of my week for you!

Loki's 1st Birthday

Loki turned 1 on Monday! It's not his actual birthday but It's the day we got him.. It actually hurts my heart to see how big he's gotten, HE WAS SO TINY!

Sister Sister

I went to stay with my Sister for a little while this week because it's nice to get away and do no work for a bit! We hang out & Mooched in TKMAXX which is always good. Love a good mooch we do.

Sew on Sew Forth

I love this pattern that I got home to! I'm so excited to sew it I'm going fabric shopping after work this weekend to get the Red stripe outfit!!

Funkadelic

This is a commission I worked on last week for a friend, She wanted something really 1990's for a Festival and she was so happy with it! It's not quite my style but I have to say it's very cute! I also made a matching throw over blouse too!

Spring has Sprung

How lovely are these blossoms? I stopped whilst walking to the shop to take this pic after hesitating...it was too pretty to pass up even if there was a man watching me take the picture from a weird angle hahaha

Old is New

Me and my Mum went through a load of old sewing & knitting equipment and supplies on Thursday, She gave me all of these cotton reels for my sewing. Some of them were my Nanny's which is cool and cute!

Denim Dreams

This jacket was another treasure me and my mum dug out, It was my sisters when she was 15! It was very trendily bought from New Look's 915 Range in probably around 2002 haha! It fits like a glove & I LOVE IT.

Just a few photos, Let me know if you liked this because I'll happily do more posts like this :)

OOTD | Pastel Basics |

Hey guys! Today's OOTD is really simple! I went Fabric Shopping in London and just wanted to be on trend but comfortable! I was ill yesterday so I've been feeling super gross!

I'm wearing my New H&M Jersey Dress, Found in a Charity Shop for £1 Brand New with Tags! It's a really nice peach colour, although it doesn't show well!
I wore my Topshop crop top under it (£9) which I got last year, I wish I had waited though because Primark brought in the same top for much cheaper recently!
Then on the bottom I've just got Tights (Primark) and My White Dolly shoes from ASOS! (£10 Depop)

Because of where I was going I used my Topshhop Backpack today, Found in Oxfam on Holloway for £6! LOVE.

I didn't catch a picture but with this I just wore a Cardigan and my Black leather Jacket with a Wooly scarf, It's a bit nippy out!

That's all for today, Hows your monday?

I saw this skirt in Primark about 5 Months ago, and Pined ever since. To my excitement I found it in the sale for just £1, I AM SO HAPPY. There was also a Baby Blue version for those not too keen on Burnt Orange, but I'm not sure if it's completely sold out!

ASOS Dolly Shoes | Depop Buys |

Hello!
Today I awoke to the excitement of a package! Nothing quite crons that feeling of knowing there's post for you,It's like Christmas!
I was so excited for this one to arrive, I have been searching for some White dolly shoes to compliment my 1960's Vintage style for ages!

Whilst perusing DEPOP the selling app (Username: WHOISJOSIEWHO - I have some vintage for sale on there!) I thought I'd try to look for some sweet shoes! I came across these from one seller, White - Check. Mary Janes - CHECK. £10? CHECK CHECK CHECK.

I couldn't quite believe the price, but DEPOP really is good for people not looking to make some crazy profit & instead just looking to make a little space in their rooms!

The shoes had a few small marks on them which probably helped with the price but I'm not to bothered as they won't stay white for long and they were new and unworn!

SUPER CUTE!

I can't wait to style them up in my next blog post!

I couldn't find the original shoes to link you online or anywhere!I'm not sure if they were samples or not but Here's a few similar shoes for you! I looked everywhere for white ones like these and this is what my search found!

 SPEND

Gracie T-Bar Geek Shoes
£32.00
Topshop

Topshop have these very similar Geek shoes that come in Metallic, Pink, Pastel Yellow & Black but no white! Super cute but one to save your pennies for!

 SAVE

MARY JANE TEARDROP
£18.00
Simmi

Love these! They come in lots of colours and look really comfortable! Also they're flatter than mine if you're not keen on chunky soles!

That's all for now my lovelies! Have you found any shoe bargains or bargains in general on DEPOP?

| 1970's Fashion Influences | January 2015

Hey there!
This year there is going to be a LOT of 1970's influences in fashion, whether it's Flares, Chiffon Blouses or HUGE Platforms, ITS COMING and we should probably embrace it!
Here's my first few pics from a few brands that speak the era to me, for a city chic office look!

Chiffon Pussy Bow Blouse
£36.00
Topshop

Tie this in a HUGE bow, tuck slightly into your Trousers or skirt & STRUT.

Wide Leg Trousers
£45.00
Miss Selfridge

These mean business in the best way possible! Bowie does 1920's business man. Androgyny is ALWAYS in.

Orange Chunky Sandal
£12.00
Primark

Flared trousers need beautiful platform shoes so strap on these cuties for a colour clash between the bright and burnt oranges and paint your toes a blue or yellow colour for even more clash!
It's always been ok to clash, Just no Navy & Black ladies!

-OR-

If you're not one for androgyny...

Chiffon Pussy Bow Blouse

(As Before)

Corduroy Dungaree Dress
£48.00
The White Pepper

Corduroy was so 1970. Ask my dad, He made questionable fashion choices involving double corduroy...
BUT this kind of Cord is super cute!

Paw Print Platforms
£29.00
ASOS

Just because we ditched the strappy platform doesn't mean it isn't replaced with a younger model. These are for girls like me who can't walk in heels and with a closed toe you can wear tights with them! WINNING!

So, that's just a few pieces i've really loved and I know they're all stupidly expensive (grrr) but you can take inspo from the outfits like me and shop the style with a smaller budget!

That's all for now!
