✿ August loves ✿

Hello! I've been a little slow on the posts recently but I found a few cute things online that I thought I'd share with you!

Firstly, I've been looking at bikes a lot recently, Becoming a non-student means bye bye student bus pass! So the idea of biking it to save money is a good one! Of course, me being me, I need an equally cute bike to match my cute outfits!

All of the bikes range from around £120-200 which means that a new bike would have to be an investment, but such cuteness!

Morris Floral Slip Dress
£38.00
Topshop

Not ideally something i'd pay so much money for however, the pattern of this dress is literally the same as William Morris, my favorite artist & inspo for my first tattoo. It's just beautiful. Hopefully it goes into the sale....soon. PLEASE.

Hunnybee Bow Sandals
£15
Topshop

These are SO adorable! I love the peachy color and defo have a few dresses these would match! Just LOVE.

Yellow Floral Dr.Martens
£110
Schuh

LOVE THESE. They're so psychedelic and cute! Very in with all of the pretty colors I wear now days and just too too cute! ah!

That's all my likes & loves for the moment!

Battlesbridge Bonanza! ❤ August 2014 ❤

Hello!

I went to Battlesbridge yesterday for the All Ford Car Show & Of Course, TO SHOP. There's a lovely little town with loads of antique shops and I just love it there! I saved money especially to buy something lovely and I'll show you what I got!

The first thing was this cute Troll Doll. I've wanted one forever & I literally could not leave this little cutie behind, look at that bow tie! Reminds me of Ricardo when he wears his! He was only £2 what a bargain!

I also picked up the little Troll for Ricardo, as a little something silly, he was £1 and the Tomato pin cushion was 20p from a rummage basket!

Also from the rummage basket I picked up some satin trim in Lilac and Cream & Some black elastic, all for 20p each.

In another Antique shop there were lots of Vintage patterns or £1 each and I couldn't RESIST.
I even nabbed a pattern for a beach dress swimsuit!

I also got the Lilac Nylon hair scarf (folded in a triangle) for £2 to add to my collection!

I love wearing them as bows in my Ponytail! tres cute.

AND NOW FOR THE PIES DE LA RESISTANCE (?)

1950's. Vintage. Prom Dress.
Can you even believe my luck! It's so beautiful!

It fits like a glove and I feel so fab in it! It was probably hand made judging by the stitching but that gives it even more romance! I LOVE IT SO MUCH!
Best of all, for a dress like this you're usually looking to pay around £60+ depending on how it was made, and I paid only £10!
An absolute success!

Just thought I'd include this snippet from mine and my sisters childhood! A mint condition Swimming Sindy doll! We used to wind ours up and swim her around the bath! I should of bought her really! Dang it!

Hope you enjoyed my little haul!

☼ Sunny Days ☼ Victoria Park & Thrifting ☼

Hello! I've been so busy recently doing so many lovely things! My blog has become a bit bare I apologise!

Thought I'd share what I've been up to starting with the day I set with my Alana Banana In East London Thrifting & Picnicing in Victoria Park!

I got so tanned! All of which is now faded because I don't get out in the sun enough haha!

We also went Thriftingggggg! So here's my favorite picks from what I got!

Tennis Dress
£3
Absolute Vintage

I love this! So cute it's like it fell out of American Apparel. I rescued it from the sale rail in AV and it looked a little sad, All it needed was a little TLC!

Bell Bottoms
£5
Vintage Basement Market
(Brick Lane)

I found these babies in a £5 box, I saw the waistband poking out and thought 'whatever that is, I WANT IT' and I pulled them out to find much to my delight that they were bell bottoms! I've wanted some really nice Flared trousers for a long time! These are so perfect!

The Waist button was originally Purple, which although cute was a bit mis-matching for me and I swapped it for a white one, I think it looks the part!

That's all from my Sunny day with alana! More Sunny Days posts coming very soon!
