My Make-up Brush Collection | January 2015

Hello!
I thought I'd bring you a non fashion based post today and would instead show you my current Make-up brushes! It's probably a boring post for some but someone's bound to want to know what I use, My make-up would look the pits without them!

I use these everyday and they're my core collection, I used to use not one brush before that!

FACE BRUSHES

These brushes I use to apply Foundation, Concealer, Powder & Blush/Contour.

They are:

- Real Techniques Buffing Brush
- Real Techniques Pointed Foundation Brush
- Real Techniques Detailer Brush
- Real Techniques Contour Brush
- Models Own Powder Brush
- Models Own Foundation Brush

Since swapping from Models Own to Real Techniques brushes, The actual coverage & Blending of my foundation has improved so much.
I'm scouting for a nice powder brush to replace the Models Own one currently as this one isn't fluffy enough!

I use the detailer brush to apply concealer, especially when tidying my eyebrows after filling in and tidying up my eyeliner so it's a sharp point!

EYE & LIP BRUSHES

These brushes I use to apply Eyeshadow, Fill in my eyebrows & Line & fill my Lips.

They are:

-Real Techniques Base Shadow Brush
-Real Techniques Deluxe Crease Brush
-Real Techniques Pixel Point Eyeliner Brush
-Real Techniques Eyebrow Brush
-Real Techniques Accent Brush
-Models Own Angled Brush
-Models Own Blending Brush
-Models Own Base Eyeshadow Brush
-Models Own Lip Liner Brush

I Love this Starter Set of Real Techniques Eye Shadow Brushes! They're all really well made and apply perfectly. My favourite being the Crease brush, I haven't managed to create creases so cleanly before!

The Models own Lip Brush is my go to for any lip product, I travels with me and my favourite lipstick or lip liner and just applies my lip color so well and precisely. LOVE IT.

I'm about 60% sure my make-up brushes will grow soon enough but I thought I'd show where I'm at with them at the moment and let you know my favourites!

Whats your go to collection of brushes?

ASOS Dolly Shoes | Depop Buys |

Hello!
Today I awoke to the excitement of a package! Nothing quite crons that feeling of knowing there's post for you,It's like Christmas!
I was so excited for this one to arrive, I have been searching for some White dolly shoes to compliment my 1960's Vintage style for ages!

Whilst perusing DEPOP the selling app (Username: WHOISJOSIEWHO - I have some vintage for sale on there!) I thought I'd try to look for some sweet shoes! I came across these from one seller, White - Check. Mary Janes - CHECK. £10? CHECK CHECK CHECK.

I couldn't quite believe the price, but DEPOP really is good for people not looking to make some crazy profit & instead just looking to make a little space in their rooms!

The shoes had a few small marks on them which probably helped with the price but I'm not to bothered as they won't stay white for long and they were new and unworn!

SUPER CUTE!

I can't wait to style them up in my next blog post!

I couldn't find the original shoes to link you online or anywhere!I'm not sure if they were samples or not but Here's a few similar shoes for you! I looked everywhere for white ones like these and this is what my search found!

 SPEND

Gracie T-Bar Geek Shoes
£32.00
Topshop

Topshop have these very similar Geek shoes that come in Metallic, Pink, Pastel Yellow & Black but no white! Super cute but one to save your pennies for!

 SAVE

MARY JANE TEARDROP
£18.00
Simmi

Love these! They come in lots of colours and look really comfortable! Also they're flatter than mine if you're not keen on chunky soles!

That's all for now my lovelies! Have you found any shoe bargains or bargains in general on DEPOP?

| 1970's Fashion Influences | January 2015

Hey there!
This year there is going to be a LOT of 1970's influences in fashion, whether it's Flares, Chiffon Blouses or HUGE Platforms, ITS COMING and we should probably embrace it!
Here's my first few pics from a few brands that speak the era to me, for a city chic office look!

Chiffon Pussy Bow Blouse
£36.00
Topshop

Tie this in a HUGE bow, tuck slightly into your Trousers or skirt & STRUT.

Wide Leg Trousers
£45.00
Miss Selfridge

These mean business in the best way possible! Bowie does 1920's business man. Androgyny is ALWAYS in.

Orange Chunky Sandal
£12.00
Primark

Flared trousers need beautiful platform shoes so strap on these cuties for a colour clash between the bright and burnt oranges and paint your toes a blue or yellow colour for even more clash!
It's always been ok to clash, Just no Navy & Black ladies!

-OR-

If you're not one for androgyny...

Chiffon Pussy Bow Blouse

(As Before)

Corduroy Dungaree Dress
£48.00
The White Pepper

Corduroy was so 1970. Ask my dad, He made questionable fashion choices involving double corduroy...
BUT this kind of Cord is super cute!

Paw Print Platforms
£29.00
ASOS

Just because we ditched the strappy platform doesn't mean it isn't replaced with a younger model. These are for girls like me who can't walk in heels and with a closed toe you can wear tights with them! WINNING!

So, that's just a few pieces i've really loved and I know they're all stupidly expensive (grrr) but you can take inspo from the outfits like me and shop the style with a smaller budget!

That's all for now!

❤Marianna Harutunian 24K Gold Plated & Swarovski Stud Earrings ❤

Hello everyone!
I wanted to show you all these B-e-a-utiful earrings that I was gifted by Vecchio Vintage in my Christmas Hamper!

Marianna Harutunian is a rising star in the jewellery world, hand designing and making gorgeous Jewels to grace the bodies of not only us mere mortals but celebrities such as Katy Perry & Nicki Minaj too!
Haven't heard of Marianna? I can 100% guarantee you've seen her work before on none other than Mother Monster Lady Gaga!

Judas anyone?
That crown is so memorable I was so excited to hear it was Marianna's vision!

Much to my surprise I won a hamper whilst at the Vecchio Vintage event & these earrings were waiting for me inside!

        Stud Earring

24KGold plated with Siam Red Swarovski Crystals

 Buy these earrings HERE

These photos do not do the beauty of these earrings justice at all! The swarovski crystals really sparkle and they're now the most beautiful earrings I own!

They retail normally at around £12 but the Etsy listing is in Dollars, Shipping is around £10 so i'd highly recommend following US Fashion source on twitter to see where they'll stock them next!

I just want to say that I used to have 16mm stretched ears, which have gone back to a near on similar size to before I stretched them. It's been quite difficult to find earrings that don't fall through my holy ear lobes and i've literally got one pair of pearls that don't but these stay put! 10/10 for excellence!

Sparkle Sparkle!

Overall I love these earrings and i'm definitely looking to get more pairs soon! Hooray!

Do you have any earring recommendations for me?

| New Years Eve 2014 OOTN |

Hello!
Firstly, Happy New Year! I'm very excited to have a clean slate to work with! I won't touch too much on a New Years post because that's coming to you later in a whole Photos of the year post thing!

Let's get down to what i'm wearing!

Me and My best friends Aaliyah & Daisy went out for New Years to London and it was a great night from what I can remember!

I took the opportunity to wear basically everything new that i'd got for christmas, including my FAB yellow coat!

Yellow Boyfriend Coat
Primark
£23

Navy Polka Dot Dress
Forever 21
£unknown

Dr.Martens
£80
Camden

Tights & Socks
Both Primark

I was also wearing this really sweet little Golden Apple Brooch from Vecchio Vintage, Which I purchased whilst at their Bloggers afternoon. I love it! So sweet.

I had my normal makeup on with some False Lashes & used my Mac Studio Fix Fluid to have a photo ready face, I love that foundation but at £21.50 a bottle it only comes out on special occasions!
I also popped in my pearl earrings, which I can actually wear without them falling out! I had previously stretched my ears to 16mm for around 2 and a half years & they've gone straight back! Result!

The obligatory Firemans Helmet Selfie.

Hope you had a wonderful night? Did you take any crazy selfies?
